Capturing sound

Having recorded well over 200 concerts, and many more studio recordings, we're experienced in creating high quality recordings for a wide range of ensembles. In all cases, we strongly believe that how the sound is initially captured through microphone placement and direct lines is the most important part of the process. Therefore, we always use high quality microphones, direct boxes, and are meticulous about our mic placements.

Testimonials

“I like the way he shaded our performance to make it sound more urgent. He has a great ear and concept for what should be there in the final mix.” -Scott Free, Berklee Guitar and Composition Professor
"It sounded great so thanks to you too! It would be great to work together in the future." -Brandon Cardwell, videographer
